for carry and general range use, what are the pros and cons of each....obviously the full size usp is bigger...but size isnt really a concern since i susessfully carried a glock 21 for awhile...i can get the 228 for 500 something, and both the usps for 600 something..

USP Compact 9mm = apple
Sig 228 = apple
USP Full size .45 = Orange


Of the two apples, buy what feels best in your hand and you can shoot the best. Both are great guns for the specific class (Compact 9mm)

The USP .45 is also a great gun as above, it's just not a 9mm compact. Bigger gun, bigger bullet. If you want it, get it.

None of those would leave you outgunned.
