i shot my mini 14 for the first time last weekend after buying used 6 months ago for $425. after researching and thinking long and hard about what magazines to buy i finally settled on a half dozen pro mag 30 rounder polymers and 4 pro mag steel 20's and i can say that they worked flawlessly in my 186 series mini. i put 600+ rounds downrange through the mags without a single hitch and the bolt locked open every time once the mag was dispensed. just a little review if anyone needs some cheap high cap mags for the mini - they were under $12 a pop from natchezz.
