What kind of stock?
Iron sights or clean?
Stainless steel or blued?
Where do you live?

Answer those and I can get you close....

No scope either? I would offer $200 and go from there. Good rifle and worth more but you will need to buy a scope. I got a new savage 110 30-06 with accu trigger and scope for $350 on sale at walmart. Thats about $200 less than they go for in my local gun shops though.

And you said excellent condition, pre-accu-trigger, so in that case, from the *buyer's* perspective:

Good (low) price: $175-$200
Average price: $200-$225
Bad (high) price: $225-$275

But that's Okla. Ohio may be different - could be higher there. Or could be lower, since you'ens hunt deer with shotguns, not centerfires, right? Great gun for the money though.

...it is a cheapy Tasco I believe. So, regardless, a new scope would be needed.

I was going to start with $185 and see where he goes. Just wanted to make sure what my ceiling should be. Thanks for the info.

Probably a $350 ceiling. Because if you shop around you can get one new for close to that. Try some of the cheapest places on line and see what they charge like buds gunshop.
