Ruger P95 Laser sight

I have a friend who keeps asking me what kind of laser to put on his P95 and I have no clue. I don't have any lasers on my guns and haven't really researched them. When I google it I get alot of forum post asking about it but no answers. Can someone throw me a bone here so I can point him in the right direction.

Is the P95 one of the newer variants with a rail or one of the older ones without? If it's a newer one you have the option of any of the rail mounted laser sights. If you google "laser sight picatinny rail" you'll probably get some leads. Something like this (http://www.lasermax.com/product.php?id=104) perhaps from lasermax?

If it's an older model you're stuck with the type that clamp to the trigger guard. Not sure I'd go that route if it were me.

As to quality of one laser over another, I can't really answer that as I've never used one. Lasermax has a good rep though.
