Hello,

Anyone have any experience with this ammo? Reliability and accuracy?

Runs OK through my WASR GP, Arsenal SA RPK-7, Vector RPD, and Norinco SKS.

I'd put it on par with Wolf or Barnaul.

Are you sure it's non-corrosive?

Always remember that other countries have different standards of what is "corrosive"...

I did some research - its actually Russian. Sounds chinese due to the asian sounding name.

Made by a competitor to Wolf.

You'll find it to be basicallly equivalent to Wolf or Barnaul. Looking at it, Id almost bet I comes from the same factory, just different packaging.

With Wolf being rather slim pickings these days, who has Golden Tiger .223/5.56X45 ?

AIM has GT 7.62x39mm.

The Ak sites claim this ammo is superior to Wolf.

I was always under the impression that Wolf, Barnaul, Silver Bear, and Golden Tiger came from the same factory with different packaging. But upon comparing some Wolf and Barnaul SP's last night, it was clear that the cases were painted in different shades. The Barnaul tips also looked better.

A report would be great.
My AK and SKS are eating me out of house and home, with no place to refill my magazines.

I purchased 1000 rounds at a show for a little under .12 a round. This was a while back and I thought that was too high at the time. My how times change. Anywho, I was very pleased with this ammo. I'd put it at least a notch above Wolf. It fed consistently. Accurate as anything through my AK. I would and probably will buy it again and would buy this before Wolf.:barf:
