View Full Version : I went to Cabela's to look at 22 rifles...

and I came out of there with a new Remington 700 ADL Synthetic. 22" barrel in 243 win. I thought it was a good price at $429. This should be a fun rifle, I plan to use it for target/plinking etc. As for the 22 rifle, maybe next time.:)

Good call. .22's don't group nearly as well at 200 yards as a .243 will. :D

Seems that you have a good head about you. A well place shot with a .243 is worth more than.. well you get the point. Good caliber. Good gun.

Nice gun I have one of those. Try out the 55 grain winchester supreme's in it for varmints :). Awesome varmint gun and accruate. Had to glass bed mine and add a timney trigger and a 4-16 weaver scope. Now its 3 touching holes at 100 yards with reloads.

I walked into there one day and a Hungarian Browning Hi-Power followed me home. Ordered some mags to keep it fed.:cool: Good thing I reload 9mm.
