I believe Shooting Times had a very detailed article on them last year. It sounds like the 1911 will be very well made and very inexpensive for the features--@$500. We shall see, though.....I would wait until they actually have been out for a bit before ordering one.....

I think American Rifleman also did a review within the last year that spoke highly of the PT1911. Sounded like you got a lot of bells and whistles for the money.

Haven't seen one yet, though. A local gunstore owner said they have not been able to order them yet, but are planning to stock them whenever they can do so.
