I've been digging around looking for advise on Mags for a P-220. Can someone point out any paticular brands to avoid?

+1 on Pro Mags . Avoid them like the plague.

I have two P-220's and have really tried to find mags that work and are less costly than factory mags. Never did! All of the off brands (particularly Pro-Mag) gave me problems. So, I sucked it up, wrote the check, and got factory mags. Has always worked best for me.

I have a spare magazine for mine made by Novaks and I haven't had any problems with it at all. I picked it up from a local gun shop, but CDNN has them as well.
I was even able to find a silver one that matched the two factory mags that came with my ST.

Steve,
May I respectfully suggest that since you apparently own one of the best pistols on the market, and a top-dollar one, you just spend what it takes to use the factory versions? Next in line would be separately available MEC-GARs.
I'm not made of money either, but trying to run a $10 magazine in a $900 pistol has never made sense to me. :)

I hear ya, I was about to purchase a couple of extras and thought I would just check and see if there were anything better out there. I guess not. I'll heed the majority's advise and go with stock equip on this one. I appreciate the info.
