Anyone who is in the market for a cheap .22 rifle, do not purchase the Savage Model 62F. I own one which jams frequently. It is under warranty but I have sent it back three times, each time to have it sent back the same way it left......crappy. I didn't expect some miracle performing gun, but I dont think something functional is to much to ask for. I am so frustrated with the company because they are obviously not test firing it, or just plain dont care and just figure I'll give up. My brother also owns one that jams a good bit, but nowhere near as much as mine. I will recomend the Marlin .22 Model 60 rifle as an alternative. It was about $50 more, but performs excellently.
