I have a glock 23 with novak sights. The gun shoots high. Do I need to file down the front sight to get the point of impact to hit the target where I want? If I do,what kind of file do I use? Thanks.

Before you start filing, what bullet weight are you using? Ligher bullets will shoot lower. Also contact Novak and see if they have different front or rear heights.

I do shoot lighter bullets(140-155gr.),but it also would shoot high with 180gr. bullets.I will check with Novak's,thanks.

If the gun really does shoot high, you need to raise the front sight, think about it. I doubt the file is going to solve the problem. :)
