So I got two czs-75bs. One is new, and was made in 2005. The other is older and made in 1995. The 1995 one seems to have a smidge shorter length in the frame. In the second picture, you see where more of the slide protrudes from the frame in the 1995 cz.
the 2005 CZ:

I would call CZ to find out, may be a engineering change.

That isn't exactly an important spec. The old 75s had much shorter dust covers, and some models have full length covers.
You old one might have been left a little long, or not. But as it doesn't affect anything, I doubt the guys in the factory care about a little variation of that part.
It would make me wonder if there are any more critical measurements that vary that much.

I measured them both and the frame on the 1995 model may be 1mm shorter. When compared side by side they seem the same length, but when measured, there is a about a 1mm difference.
