This is no joke! A guy told me he read where a study was done and it said the large majority of people that prefer Remingtons also drive fords! How many of you own both? I did some thinking and with 9 out of 10 of my friends it holds true! also winchester was dodge and chevy

Rossi slug

I drive a Silverado.

Two buddies with brand new Rems. One drives a Honda; the other a Suburban.

Considering that the F-150 was (is?) the largest selling vehicle year after year after year...and so's the Rem 700...well...there ya go. No surprise there really.

I guess they need something to shoot at the Ford with when it breaks down on the road yet again and the remington will give the good kill of the pile of tripe.

I have spent way too much money keeping my wife's mustang running and its not even our main car. I much prefer the Toyota.

Winchester ('94) : Dodge, check

Beretta : Fiat (X19), check

Arisaka : Toyota (Land Cruiser), check

Enfield : Triumph (Spitfire), check

One thing is obvious, we have too damned many cars! (And not enough guns.) :)

Well if you drive a F@#$ed Over Rebuilt Dodge (FORD), it only makes sense that you'd also opt for a Remington over a Ruger :D

I have owned some type of heavy barrel 700 during the last 10 years - during this time the cars I have owned included a few Fords:

Ford Escort
Buick Regal
Ford Contour
Ford Contour - yes, a 2nd one!

My current car - Honda Civic. My current Remington - a 700 LTR in .223.

I own to many guns to list and i have 2 chevys and 2 fords and 1 dodge so i guere it all comes down to what my gramps says "if its got tits or tires your gonna have problems" and " every gun can be good if you have the element of supprise"

Well, it seems that the original premise has been disproven....at least within the context of this forum. Obviously, the concept that "9 out of 10 people who have Remingtons...drive Fords"....is utter nonsense. Gee, what a surprise.

Now, what other useless drivel can we find to argue over ?
