Just wanted to say hey! I found the forum about a week ago and have been tuning in, seems like a great bunch. I'm sending a CMP M1 Garand to Fulton Armory for inspection, new barrel, and re-park. I was just looking for comments on the pros and cons of the different barrels offered. The standard barrel seems fine to me, they offer a chrome barrel for 50 bux more?
When the rifle comes home I'm mounting in a new walnut stock engraved with the flag raising on Iwo. I intend to shot the gun and enjoy it and might even shot a match or two, or try!
