Is it recommended to rotate mags for any given gun in order to maintain tension in the mag spring?
And if so, how often should this be done?
Weekly, monthly?
It sounds like a logical approach but I don't have any experience to back it up with.
Thanks!

I used to think that to. The gun store owner who also does ccw training said that you may get a little memory coil in the spring but not so much as you would notice. It's designed to stay under tension, and i'm sure it can't be that expensive in the unlikely event of it breaking. It should be able to handle a full load for an extended amount of time. What is the magazine to? If your ammo on the other hand is getting so grody that it's starting to calcify or whatever ammo does when it gets old, you may want to change it out.

SIG P-232 .380 and Beretta 92FS.
I'll probably just switch them around every month or so regardless.

Change to Wolff springs. About 3k-5k rounds. To be on the safe side. http://www.gunsprings.com/Resources/FAQ.htm#4
