Hi All,

I recently picked up a Buckmark Hunter (http://www.browning.com/products/catalog/firearms/detail.asp?value=006B&cat_id=051&type_id=403) and am looking for some good optics for it. I haven't used many red dots, but my brother has a leupold red dot (1x) on his Ruger Mark III that works pretty well. I'm just concerned about balance and would like something that is a good quality piece.

I'm just going to be plinking and punching paper, probably never shoot a live critter with this thing. I think a 1x red dot or holo would be good.

Any recommendations greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!!

Bob

Ultra Dot, Leupold-Gilmore, Bushnell, Nikon, are all good dots... There are others. I have two Ultra Dots and am very satisfied with them.
I believe that your picture shows a Bushnell Trophy on it..

I wondered what that was. I like the looks/balance of it, but think it might feel a little cramped when looking through it.

I've only shot pistol with sights a few times, so i don't really know what i'm talking about. :)
