For being in Terminator II, I'm amazed at how hard it is to find information on lever action 12 gauges. Simple google search didn't do it.
Finally though, I found a company (http://www.coyotecap.com/mod__'87_wcse.htm) that is having them made in China and importing them.

I wasn't aware that the NORINCO '87 copy was currently being imported, but it's a copy of the old Winchester M1887 shotgun, which was originally blackpowder only. The reason that the're not popular (the original Winchester I mean) is because they have a reputation for jamming alot. After all, that's the reason Winchester introduced the M1893 slide action, then when that didn't work either they introduced the M1897 slide action which works quite well. I have no idea if the NORINCO '87 works any better than the original Winchester, but I highly doubt it.

There's been talk for several years about importing these for the CAS crowd. Saw them three years ago at the SHOT Show. Then again two years ago at the SHOT Show. They are heavy though. As far as I know, they aren't being imported yet.

Is it the way the picture is cropped, or is the stockwork really that terrible?
