George,I have a colt delta with a 10mm bbl and a 40 s&w bbl.The specific info I need is whether or not the removal of the series 80 parts in the frame[two levers] is all that is necessary to use a series 70 top end.Brownells sells a plate that goes into the frame to replace the two levers.I am not worried about any political or legal ramifications, this frame is to be used for a range gun only.I'm just inquiring as to the mechanical feaseabitity only. Thanks.

You will also need to remove the plunger and its spring from the slide.

(Whoops! I should read the WHOLE message. The Series 70 slide you propose to use doesn't have any plunger or spring...sorry).

Harold you've got it right. The wedge from Brownells is all you need to add. George
