When I first saw a R93, is looked kinda "funny" to me (at least in its 2 piece wood stock incarnation), but I find it's growing on me. Couple of questions:
The synthetic stock appears to be a one-piece affair, while the wood stocked versions are two-piece. Is the receiver the same in both versions? IOW, can one swap out wood for synthetic stocks depending on field conditions (or one's mood)?
If the receiver is the same, does the synthetic stock get noticeably thicker than the wood version?
Sorry if the above has been covered. I didn’t find much on stocks with the search function but I did learn that R93 owners are a conspicuously happy lot. :)
