There are a few private clubs around.

If you don't think you'll shoot over 100 yds, the ODNR range at Grand River is the closest long range range, though Stonewall (indoor) allows rifles on certain days (limited to 25 yds).

Also, try http://www.wheretoshoot.org/wts_search.asp and enter your zip code and distance, and select "rifle" in the right hand column. You'll probably get a few good results.

Amherst - Lorain Rifle & Pistol Club, Inc., 48548 N. Ridge Rd., Amherst, OH 44001.
Phone:
Facilities include: Outdoor Pistol (25, 50 yds), Outdoor Rifle (50, 100 yds), Muzzleloading
Range Access: Private

Its only about 30 minutes west of Cleveland.

Now it only has 100yrd range, but we just bought 97 acres on the lot next to ours. We are in the process of building a 200, 300 and 600yrd range. There is a $350 one time fee (For the 600yd range) and $50 for membership per year.

Don't know phone, but you could write a letter.

Half way between Marion and Delaware, Ohio, just off of US 23: State Route 229. Ohio DNR sponsors a 100 yd rifle range, . . . a skeet/trap range, . . . and a pistol range.

I think it is 5 bucks a day, . . . would probably be 2 1/2 hrs drive from dwtn Cleveland.

May God bless,
Dwight

Some of the closer ranges that I've used include, Crooked Creek, A&A, Tusco and Ashland Lake. All of these ranges have shoots that are open to the public, all have rifle ranges of 200yds or more.
