Cool article on the Trijicon. Thanks for posting the links.

I have a Reflex with a 4 MOA reticle carry handle mounted on one of my AR's. I can still use my iron sights if need be and, of course, the Trijicon has no batteries.

To zero it, I dialed the reticle onto the top of my front sight post and fine tuned at the range.

Good stuff. :)

Excellent! I can't see the photos in Netscape. Maybe I'll try Explorer.

One question:

How does the Reflex compare to an electronic red dot sight like the A.C.O.G. or Aimpoint, in terms of brightness? I like the no batteries feature of the Reflex, but I am concerned that the reticle (dot or triangle) won't be bright enough.

Thanks for the great review.

battery powered units are certainly brighter, but you have the disadvantage of batteries.

I've found the Reflex II to work in any condition anyway, so I don't see the need to trade off reliability for a battery power unit.

YMMV
