I have really enjoyed my M40 but have always thought the price for extra mags is a major rip. Law enforcement mags from CDNN are still 30 bucks but the 10 rounders are a great deal at 10 bucks. You pay a extra 20 bucks for 2 more rounds, plus ship. 3-12 rds for 100.00 or 9-10 rds for 100.00. :)

I got in on a deal right befor the sunset that made the LEO mags about $10 shipped, but I wouldn't pay $30 for them.

I ordered 2 10's instead of 1 12. Could have 20 rd for the price of 12 and it doesn't take that long to reload.

try onpointfirearms.com for $20 12 round mags. that or get sigma 14 rounders and have a machinist make the new magazine catch. can find sigma 14 rounder $10 a pop if you look in right place.
