Ruger? Thumbs up on anything that costs only $200 and fires straight!

I'd say well OK!! Could well be worth a small further investment tho and get and fit a Volquartsen extractor - did this to mine and made it less ammo sensitive. The compensator is nice but hardly essential IMO.

If you get it - enjoy! I am sure you will.

Was looking at the 22/45 myself. For $200. I would definitely go for it. Good Luck. gd

Do it! I got my SS 5.5" bull barrel 22/45 with 5 mags for $250 and am very happy with it! Dennis

I have a 22/45. Fun gun. Can't miss. Likes CCI ammo. Only problem is cleaning it. I pay to have it cleaned at the range. It was my first gun and I thought all guns came apart the same  I now have a Glock, enough said.

I didn't expect to like my Ruger MkII and I love it!

For $200 I'd jump if I was in the market for a .22lr pistol, though I do like the MkII a lot better than the 22/45 (no offense to its many fans, it is a good gun I just like the looks and feel of the MkII better).

2 Thumbs up. Go for it.

I love mine. It probably has more rounds through it that any of my other handguns.

As mentioned above, definatly spring for the Volquartsen extractor. Makes a world of difference, although can be a little finicky to install (at least for me it was.)
