I'm looking to get another gun. I want a 9mm just to shoot, not carry (I already have my carry of choice). I want stainless, that looks good...shinny! :p So I want one thats not going to be too much money, maybe $300-$350's but reliable. What do you guys recomend?

I'd try gunbroker... you can find stainless PT92s in that price range from time to time.

Taurus PT-92! Your only other choice for a high quality 9mm is the Ruger P89. Unless you're also considering used, in that case theres plenty to choose from :)

CZ-75, you may still find them new at that price. It is one of the classic 9 mm designs. Rugged and many find the grips made for their hand.
Used by Czech military and police. Israeli's use a copy of the design.

www.cdnnsports.com

Download thier catalog, they have a wide variety of guns listed there and most at reasonable prices.

No i am not advertising for them, I just ran across it the other day and thought it was good information to share.

I have 3 CZ's and have a great admiration for them, they are an exceptional value for the money, accurate, reliable and fit your price range. The next one would be a newer model Ruger P series which are also reliable and built like a tank. I also have a Taurus PT99 that has been the biggest surprise gun I have bought in recent memory, ragged hole groups at 50ft and has not hickupped with anything I have used in it, even reloads.

Hey CZ guys....STAINLESS....CZ doesnt have a stainless gun, plus I already have the CZ 40P. I do love the gun and after I let my friend shoot it he wants the same one now. yes they are very desireable gun though. and my carry is the S&W 340PD revolver. so now i am looking for a 9mm to plink, thats all, and i want to look good doing it . I did look at a used glock 26 today though (black   ) but its only $350 in great cond.

WorkinIke, you don't need stainless on a CZ 75, unless it is just for cosmetic appeal. The polycoat finish is applied over steel that has been previously parkerized and it is extremely corrosion resistant, probably more so than stainless. The carbolic acid surface hardening treatment of the barrel is probably the current state of the art in barrel protection for semi-auto pistols. ;)

I get the impression he wants a little bling. Maybe a 1911 9mm variant?

Chris...you got it, like i said in the begining, i want a "GOOD LOOKING  GUN" I dont want black. the two guns i have are black and I already have a CZ. but aren't 1911's 9mm's in the means of $600+ ?
I was just on the site for Kimber, The Ultra CDP II, Stainless Ultra Carry II or (what i really like :D ) the Eclipse Ultra II. How much do you think they may be about?

"good looking"...getting complicated now...let's see. Ruger BUT use a Bikini Supermodel as your holster. :)

Would brushed stainless steel be OK? S&W 5906. Boxy, but some people love it. Old cop guns can be found cheap, about $300

Doesn't CZ have a two-tone version with the frame in satin-nickel? Besides you never listed what you had before.
Kimber - not in your stated range, probably not even if used unless it is beat up.

A used S&W 5906 is 100% stainless (unlike every other gun mentioned so far), and is a super gun for the money. Right in your price range, too (unlike the CZ).

You probably know this so please disregard if you do!

Go the http://www.genitron.com. Go to Gun Selector. Select 9mm, then select, Taurus, and take a look at the PT-92 styles. I own a PT-92SS5 and it's a great looking, great shooting pistol.

If you really want something fancy in that price range take a look at the PT-92SSPRL. Beauty being in the eye of the beholder, the PT-92 may not be your thing.

Good Luck

I think they are a really sharp looking pistol, and I've seen them for less than $400!

CZ 75's are available in tutone or satin nickel. In the $600 class the stainless Beretta 92 is sleek sexy and very shootable. For a couple hundred less, the Taurus 92 is available in stainless and is a very solid product. ;)

I would do a double take on the cz, and check out the satin chrome. cz-usa.com if i am not mistaken. I believe they are some of the nicest looking guns in that finish. The two tone is especially sweet. Throw on some hakken(i think thats it) custom wood grips and you will have eye candy that will shoot like a dream (oh for the adolecent days...)

Prices are pretty regional, but around here there really isn't anything in that price range new that will meet your criteria. However, without going too far over here are some idea-

-CZ 75B in nickle. No, not stainless, but it is a "white" finish and it is a very pretty yellow nickle that CZ uses. Also, if you want looks, you can get that in blue too- the CZ high gloss blue is georgeous (but hard to find).

-Taurus PT92. Based on the Beretta so a nice looking design already, and available in stainless. It is probably one of the best, and most underrated, guns on the market.

-Taurus PT911. Smaller and Taurus' own design. Just as good and just as good looking (especially with the wood grips).

-Used S&W 3913 or similar. Great looking guns, reliable, accurate, etc.

-Value series- 910 in double stack, or 908 in a trimmer single stack.

What about those FN's at CDNN? That compact 9mm, looks nice for $299....FN high powers for $399....
That deal is what I would jump at today.....

5906 LE trade-in would be as cheap or cheaper than new Ruger, better looking and better shooting.
Kimber Eclipse price is probably minimum of $950. Good trigger and good sights IF you like night sights. Kimber uses a bar/dot config that many don't like.

Another vote for a SW 5906, mine shoots great. Pick it up for $300
