I came accross this unbranded 25 auto pocket gun and I can't figure out what it is. It is hamerless, has a blued finish, and the only markings are the words "MODEL AUTOMATIC PISTOL CAL 635" (the 35 is underlined superscript). On the other side, behind the trigger, is printed spain. Any ideas (astra 200)?

Does it seem to resemble a Colt/Browning? I think you have a WWI Ruby. These were made in the Eibar gun valley of Spain. I saw one that I first thought was a Colt 1908 Vest Pocket. They are worth about $150.00. Some were made by kitchen table gunsmiths.

Those old spanish guns were mostly junk, poorly made of very soft steel.

I've sent pics to Sir William, so we’l see. The piece does not seem to be sturdily made, but the price was right ($25 at an estate sale). What strikes me is that it appears to have almost no use at all, perhaps a few rounds but not many. Other than a bit of surface rust it is in great shape. Thanks for the replies. -S
