I just got a new rife and I want a decent but cheap scope to shoot with in multiple light conditions. Budget is around $100, I will buy a nicer scope later.

Right now I am looking at these two:

The only difference I can find between the two is one is Multi-X® and the other is 3-2-1 Low Light™. What does that mean?

I don't have it on my 10FP, but I have the 6x24 'low light' on my varminter AR. So far it's done ok, I'd say it's as good as the Millet that in the same price range.

One I can highly recommend is the Elite 3200 10x40 Mildot seen here http://www.bushnell.com/products/riflescopes/specs/32-1040m.html I have one on my Savage 12BVSS and it's a very nice scope for the money. It gives you twice as much MOA of elevation, 100 vs. 50, than the two you're looking at which is good for long range shooting. It will run about $159 though but worth saving a couple more weeks for. Here's where they can be found at that price http://www.ultout.com/bushnell-optics.htm
