Hey guys;

Has anyone here heard of Independence Ammunition? I found it really cheap, and they said its brand new, so I'm just trying to find more information. Usually, when it comes to shooting, if the ammo is cheap, there's a reason for it. But this guy said it was pretty decent. Just wanted to check with the "experts" here.

Thanks....

Erick

I've seen this couple days ago. It's white/blue box with a star on it.
On google it is said to be made by CCI. I didn't find any of this info in CCI website though.

I've seen it listed under Federal on a few online catalogs.

Federal is bringing it in from Brazil. Dirty in 9mm, lot of unburned powder all over the place when I shot it out of a Glock 17 & Beretta Storm. A couple of the female shooters who tried the 9mm in Glocks were having FTF's and stuff. Didn't seem as 'hot' as WWB.

40 & 45ACP seemed to do OK, though.

Saw some of this stuff in Sportsman's Warehouse a week or so ago. Pretty inexpensive; $6.50 / 50 rounds in 9mm Para.

Just went through 100 rounds today in .40 SW 165gr. Seems fine. Fed just fine.

went through 100 rounds of 9mm and 100 rounds of 45, didn't have and problems with them fired fine and had decent accuracy.
