Beretta 92/96FS changes

I've noticed on the Beretta USA website, and in several retailers, that the safety, mag. release, slide release, hammer, and take-down lever on the INOX (Stainless) 92/96 FS series pistols are now blued black. Is this a permanent change? Will I still be able to find new INOX Berettas with silver INOX parts?

Any help would be appreciated.

I think the parts are polymer, and I would say it's permanent :eek:

I'm not sure if you can still get new 92fs Inox with stainless parts, but you can go to berettausa website and ask them (by email), they should give you an answer.

ps: maybe some retailers still have old once in stock :confused:

I appreciate the reply. I still like the Beretta line of handguns so if I can't find an older style model I'll go with the new ones. It's disapointing how Beretta is using cheaper parts on their premier handgun to save manufacturing costs, but not passing the savings on to the consumer.
