I've searched the archives and found that a website called http://www.guncompliantstocks.com/ use to carry these grips. Their website is now dead. so is http://www.ar15.com

Is this Russia or America???

Also, is it true that I can have the pistol grip if I get a .22lr rimfire upper, because SB23 doesn't apply to rimfires???

Ar15.com is now back up. Now for the shocker. SB23 does not include rimfire rifles as assault weapons, but....the 94 ban does! So be fore warned. A .22 AR can still be considered an AW if it has too many "evil" features. This is what caused Great Guns in Sacramento, CA to get shut down by the ATF. Lost their FFL and paid a big fine. All because they sold a couple of Ruger 10/22 with folding stocks and flash suppressors.

Last I heard was that there were no aftermarket SB23 compliant grips at this time. Don't know how the DOJ plans to proceed on this one. You may want to check with them.

The "tumor" grips have been available for sale at gun shows in the Bay Area. However, as far as I know, the DOJ has not finally ruled on them. You can always cut off the grip, as many dealers are doing.
