View Full Version : Which AR Kit?

Think I boiled it down to either Rock River Arms or American Spirit Arms for the kit that I would like. I will be getting the Fab-10 receiver soon and need to build the match/varmint rig and need input. Any and all info is appreciated because this is the first and hopefully only AR I will build and would like to do it right the first time. I am leaning towards a 20 inch match barrel and build it for scope only. (low rail)

Thanks

I don't hang around AR15.com much anymore, but if you go there and do a search on American Spirit Arms, you'll find some very negative posts. I'd go with Rock River.

Heard nothing good about ASA except that Sarah is pretty.

Another vote for RR. Good choice on the 20" flat-top too.

Another vote for Rock River.

I'd also give some consideration to JT Dist. They have excellent kits for a very reasonable price. I've built up several rifles using Rock River components and complete JT kits and have been very happy with both products.

Got to run a newly built shorty AR that I built for my father this weekend from a JT kit and RR stripped lower. Rifle ran beatifully.
