Here's a picture of one of my Colt's. I've been playing with the camera trying to get better pics. Seems like there is a competition here as to the best quality pictures. Well, these won't win any awards, but I'm getting better at least. Thanks

The gun is very accurate, however I've been having some problems with it hanging up going into battery. The problem is not as pronounced using a Wilson mag, but then, I've only put 117 rnds thru it so far.

I did install a Wilson drop in beavertail and a STI hammer. That has taken care of the hammer bite. I'm going to try some different ammo and see what happens.

Here is another Colt Series 70 new issue. This Colt will feed anything and has never had a burp. I does give me hammer bite, but I really don't want to change it.

My Series 70 Combat Commander, is the best carry gun I have owned. Over the years, I have had extensive modifications done. I prefer it over any Kimber, STI, or any other Clone.

Unlike a Springfield or Kimber, Les Baer or Wilson, my Commander is like I want it. I did not want someone else's idea of what would make a terriffic pistol. I controlled what was done, how it was done, the quality of parts, the brand of parts, and the fit and finish. My local gunsmith is a Wizard, and has produced a world class firearm, that is a work of art.

ArmySon, that black and white Mark IV is just awsome.

That is the weapon James Bond should have been carrying all these years!

You need to take a picture of that next to a tux, a set of cuff links, and maybe some dice or playing cards. It looks like a playboy that likes to go to the casinos of Monte Carlo.

This is not to take anything away from the others: They are all beautiful pistols. Thanks for sharing them with us guys!
