Anyone know what that shotgun(?) was that Chris Walken used in "Dogs of War?"

...And it wasn't a shotgun, it was supposed to some kinda grenade launcher (judging from the results)...Pretty sure itwas something the prop guys cooked up, though

No, it was the real deal. South African made IIRC. I also think that was Tom Beringer's first or one of the first movies he ever made.

I think it's a Stryker shotgun. Made in South Africa. See review in 1986 Shotgun Digest.

The shotgun used in that movie was a custom piece built by the Dlask Corporation in Vancouver Canada. They have a picture of it on their website.
