A good deal?

I have an opportunity to purchase a Wilson Combat 1996A2. It is in 99% condition. It parkerized, with WC adjustable sight. Case and papers, including one-ragged-hole 15 yard test target. :) Asking price is $1250. Is this a good price?

I want a full-size .45 with excellent accuracy out of the box, and would like to avoid the lead times and expense involved in a full custom. This 1996A2 seems a good way to go. Any suggestions on alternatives?

1996 A2's are a little hard to come by. Mostly because their owners aren't selling. I'd be tempted but would try to get the price down about a hundred bucks.

I'm not a big fan of armor tuff so a parked or blued wilson appeals to me.
