The 2000 Benelli catalog has this adapter listed in thier catalog. I called Benelli to ask about it and a girl responded.... "what is an M3 light?"
Anyone know if such a thing is actually obtainable?

Robe,
As an M3 owner I will be very happy if this adapter actually exists. Sounds like you had the typical Benelli customer service experience.

Robe -
Could you be more specific. Which light system is the adapter for, how does it mount, etc. I have not seen the 2000 Benelli catalog. Any info you have is appreciated.

just have your dealer install a #45 weaver style base to your forearm at the 3:00 position or the 6:00 position and your problem is solved.the light works fime on any weaver style base.

ATM- the adapter or mount is for the M3 light like the ones that fit the Glock handguns. It is a barrel clamp with a mounting surface on the underside of the barrel.
The weaver rail may be a possibility. I just don't like screwing things into plasic that may take a beating. I'd rather have a metal to metal mounting like the one in the catalog.
