A while before the site crashed I got my first FAL, and while I really do like the gun, I would love to make the barrel a bit shorter as well a have break installed. Wilson has an ATF approved break for post ban ARs but is there anyone out there doing it for FALs?

DSA sells at least two different BATF approved brakes for the FAL. I believe Entreprise does, too.

Buy one and send the whole deal to AZEX arms, Arizona Response Systems, or one of the many other smiths found lurking on the FALFiles.

If you're not in a hurry, I strongly recommend George Gouger of DoubleG Gunsmithing. Go on over to www.fnfal.com and he should be easy to find. He has done two fal's for me, both of which started out life as Century guns (with Hesse receivers even), and when he got through with them, they were both PRIMO! Like fine wine, he takes his time, but I found the results to be worth the wait. He's also a very personable guy on the phone.

Derek Huffman at AZEX did some work for me. He does great FAL work.
