Hi Point Carbines - New Selections Coming!!

I know a lot of people don't like the Hi Point firearms, but for those who do, here is some news.

I sent an e-mail to Hi Point and asked if there were any plans for developing and marketing a carbine in 45ACP.

They responded saying that they would be releasing a .40S&W version, then a 45ACP. They didn't give any firm dates, but said that they were definitely slated for production.

Just some FYI for you all.

When I see it I'll believe it. :cool: The 40 S&W is like vaporware. They have been promising it for at least 3 years that I can remember.

I absolutely loathe Hi-points simply due to their horrendous travesty of aesthetics... but if they release a .45acp carbine that proves to be a reliable firearm, I'll bite.

I've been wanting a .45acp semi-auto carbine for years now, but refuse to pay the exorbitant tariff to those shops with Marlin Camp .45s, there's no exigency that justifies it.
However, this new Hi-point carbine option might just be the ticket.
