I don't own one, but I find them to be among the best mass-production pistols on the planet.

If you're thinking about getting one I seriously doubt you'll find anyone here at TFL that will try to talk you out of it! :D

I tried friends' 9mm Experts before I bought my G17L.
Pros:
- I like the Expert's grip. It really bites into your hand and allows you to grip it securely and firmly without shifting during shooting. Ok, it may leave marks, but they vanish. ;)
- It's accurate. At least as accurate as my Glock.
- Ergonomic controls (safety, slide stop, mag release).

Cons:
- The trigger reset is a bit weak.
- The higher bore axis leads to more muzzle rise.
- The price (for the gun and access./mags).

(If there were no longslide Glocks, I'd now have a 9mm Expert ;) )

I've had an Expert 45 for a while now. I haven't tried the longslide Glocks, but I have shot a 17, 19, 23 and 21 ALOT.
To me, the Glocks are fine guns. Simple, accurate, durable and very very reliable.
The Expert is just a lot more refined; controls (safety & slide release where they belong), a nicer trigger IMHO and a much better feel. For me, the Expert also points better making follow up shots quicker.
