Thanks guys - Now I need scope rings for the Mini

Thanks for all of your suggestions for a scope for my Mini-14. I went to the gun show today (in Balto. area) and wound up with a fixed power (4x32) Blazer scope new for $30. Used ones were more than that, so this will probably fall apart before too long. I am carefull with my equipment though, but the battering on the gun might be it's downfall. Anyway, for $30 I can't go too wrong.
Anybody know about Blazer scopes?
Now I need rings, as they did not come with my previously owned Ranch Mini-14. Who makes aftermarket rings for the Mini (and where to get them), or do I have to get Ruger rings. They would cost more than the scope. Any suggestions?

Ruger is known for fairly good service. I would just simply call Ruger and tell them that I just bought a Ranch Rifle and it didn't come with rings. I would not mention that it was bought used unless asked. I would be surprised if they didn't offer to send you a set for free. Good luck.

The aftermarket rings are as much or more than the Ruger rings.-----Give Ruger a call.
