.375 300gr Solids, who's making?

I looked and couldn't find this.

Anyone have any idea about who may be loading, either factory or commercial, 300gr solids for the .375H&H?

Thanks.

Erick

Try Barnes Solids

My friend had very good results on rhino with handloads I made for him in .416 Rigby. I'm going to use Barnes for my own .375

PMC and Norma load Barnes Solids in this caliber

For loaded Ammunition Federal sells a 300 grain monlithic sledge hammer solid. Good stuff mate.

Federal makes a 300 gr TrophyBond Solid. I've seen them in Cabela's magazine, you could check there.

For Modern bolt guns I would suggest either Speer's AGS-Solid or Trophy Bonded Sledgehammer Solid. Federal factory loads the Sledgehammer and CCI-Speer factory loads their AGS-Solid.

If your using an older gun or a single, double, or drilling I would suggest Woodleigh solids which you can get thru Huntington http://www.huntington.com IIRC

Hornady also offers 300 FMJ-RN as component or in their Heavy Magnum line as a factory load 300 grain FMJ-RN @ 2700fps [this is kin to Federal's HE line].

I've used handloaded .375 Speer AGS Solids for buff and hippo with perfect results. With a tungsten carbide core, they may be the best on the market today. (An you'll pay for it - several bucks each!) Trophy Bonded "Sledgehammer" solids also have an excellent reputation. I believe Hornady is still making solids, as is Barnes.

A-Square, if it's still in business, used to make a decent solid. But even if available, I'd be leery about dealing with that company. The owner got suspended from Safari Club International for his unethical dealings with customers.
