It comes with new M16 mag well, new g36 style bolt head and gas piston all usa made, use of these parts and mags made in the USA make your Hk sl8 legal with m16 mags

Out of curiosity, why wasn't a M16 mag catch used for the conversion? Was there just no room on the magwell or was there another reason?

The conversion looks good, in general, but I'd rather have a more conventional release.

On a slightly different note, have you ever thought about developing a Mini-14 to AR-15 mag conversion?

My good friend HotBrass/Longshot got us both a sweet deal on the optics/carry handle.

Cals Sporting Armory can special order them for you. I think they run about $600 Delivered.

If you did - I would have to go out and buy both the UMC and the Kit ASAP!
I can't afford that right now! Uh - Perhaps in March?
