European shotgun Buying

first, I would like to say thanks to all the fine people in this forum for giving their advice & time for others. I've been watching for several months & have found this forum as one of the best.
I'm planning a trip to europe this spring and was wondering if anyone has ever brought back a fine over/under shotgun from say, italy, spain or germany. If so, was it a bargin compared to usa prices & was it worth the hassles with import, atf ect. ? I may be barking up the wrong tree here, but like the man with a fresh slapped red face says.... IT NEVER HURTS TO ASK.. thanks for all your help.

Ask this over on the BB at Shooting Sportsman magazine, they have lots of folks that have done exactly that...
