There I was . . . .
On the trap range with my bargain basement black Remington 1100 from Wal Mart. Two other shooters in the squad, both with really nice trap guns.
But I was the only one who shot his first 25/25 that day. ![]() The trapmaster gave me a patch to sew on the new shooting vest I bought immediately afterward. Next month, my name will be in the club newsletter. Woo hoo. How did I do it? The same way as always, except I didn't miss any.

Congratulations! It's a great feeling the first time you run them.
Did the squad shoot your hat? In these parts, that's a common tradition. Fill the hat with some sand and fling it in to the air as everyone takes a shot or two. The hat is then pinned to the club wall. |

They wanted to, but it was his brand-new "Molon Labe" hat. He shot another 25/25 fighting them off.

Led, congrats and Mazeltov!! Knew you could do it.
If I ever get get 100X100, the heck with a patch, I'm getting a tatoo(G)! A great illustration of,"It's the shooter, not the shotgun", too.... |
