I haven't got my new issue yet.
I subscribed to SWAT a couple of weeks ago. (Purchased July 2001 off the shelf), and I have been eagerly awaiting the new one with the M-96 on the cover (September?). It hasn't showed up in the mail yet. Then today I saw that it was on the newstand at the local store. So I guess that I either signed up too late, or did mine get lost?
Either that or it is just bad karma because of the two TFLers who I screwed up on and didn't ship their shirts and hats out untill yesterday. (M.W. echo3, I'm still really sorry about that, totally my fault). This seemed like the place to post this. Eagerly looking forward to reading it. -Larry Correia |

Larry,
It usually takes a month or so for new subscriptions to get into the flow. This is due to lead-time in the print industry, print orders set for the issue going out etc. The October issue was probably well into the cycle and possibly even at the printers when you subscribed. Dont worry, though, your sub will start with the first issue you receive. Denny

Denny-
How 'bout this then... It's been 10 days since the first gentleman posted that he got his October issue and mine still wasn't in as of last night? I'm giving you a bad time, this never happens with foo-foo catalogs or bills - only with the stuff I want to read. |

Erick,
You should have it by now. I'll do some checking on Monday. Denny

Double checked with the subscripitons department this morning and they assured me they will be able to answer questions about subscriptions which have not arrived yet. Call toll free, (800) 673-4595.

Darned if I know, Rich
...but if it's gun or L/E related it seems like it takes 2 or 3 weeks longer - minimum.
If I didn't know better...Er, never mind. ![]() As an aside, I called the Subscription folks today. Apparently they have to wait 30 days from the date the edition shipped to send a make-up copy. Today was Day 21. Erick |

So, if I haven't received my first issue yet, should I buy the October issue at the store?

Might be the thing to do if you can still find one, as it will be going off the stands in a few weeks. The November issue is scheduled to start mailing subscriptions next week. Denny
