Gee, there are so many. Start with the 'links' link above. For ammo,I like Natchez Shooter's Supply [www.natchezss.com] and Cheaper Than Dirt [http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/], for knives, it's teh Knife Center of the Internet [www.knifecenter.com], and a good general directory is Hollowpoint Firearms Directory [www.hollowpooint.com] Have fun! I have bought ammo from http://www.cheaperthandirt.com and http://www.sportsmansguide.com in the past. I recently bought some full capacity aftermarket Beretta Magazines from http://www.tapco.com I have learned that if you are taking the time to order specific stuff, you should visit all the sites you can and see who has the best deal on most of the stuff.

ammo - mostly online, ammoman, Natchez, Cheaperthandirt.

guns - locally.

accessories - online or locally depending on what I want and how fast I want it.

Natchez has a broad selection of products, low prices, and good service. Claflin also has competitve prices on ammunition.

I try and buy my firearms from oocal dealers or from gun shows.

Ammo, it's hard to beat Wal-Mart in my area for 9mm $5.95 for a box of 50, and a local shop has .45 hardball for 9.99 for 50.

Components: Montana gold bullets, Graf & Sons (powder and primers)

Accessories: Botach Tactical, Quartermaster, Arizona Gun Runners, Glockmeister

Guns: Depends on what I want. Just bought a 590A1 locally, but bought an AR15 across the internet.

YMMV,

Handguns are purchased, naturally, from my two favorite gun shops. I also purchase almost all my ammo from them. The prices from one of them are pretty close to Walmarts. They could compete better with Wally's if they raised their prices (.40cal $9.00 at gun shop, $10.96 at Walmart, .38spec $8.96 at Walmart/$6.26 (case lot) at gun shop, .45cal $10.50 at gunshop/$14.96 at Walmart. Wally's really not doing me a favor. The prices at the other gun shop are within a dollar of Wally's, but I like to keep him in business.

Why the gun shops? Even if the ammo prices at both were somewhat higher, I want to keep them in business. I can't go to Walmart and drool over the guns, BS with my friends and get a free cup of coffee from time to time. Same thing with internet purchases. They don't offer the close personal contact and comradery that local gun shops do.

Ammo: J&G sales http://www.jgsales.com I don't buy over the internet. It's more fun to make the drive. I only live an hour, and a half from the place.

Guns: Mandall Shooting Supplies in Scottsdale AZ
