Well as some of you probably read in General Discussion terridarri got a couple of new handguns for her birthday yesterday. Which also brings me to a couple of questions.
Will Beretta 92 magazines interchange in the Taurus PT92?

While we're at it a source for Browning Buckmark mags would be appreciated as well.

Not the factory mags. I believe some
Triple-K POS aftermarkets do... The reason is because the cuts in the mags for the catch are slightly off...

My Dad has a Beretta 92 SB F. I have a Taurus PT 92 AF. They do not accept each other's magazines. Heck, we couldn't even use the same borebrushes because his barrel was so much tighter than mine.

The barrels interchange, and I highly, highly, highly, recommend the Millett Beretta Accurizer Combo in the most glowing terms possible, but forget about magazines.

Stephen, What does the Accurizer do ? is this a barrel bushing ? or a Add on like the Weigand unit? I can't find any mention of the Accurizer on the Millet Website. G.R.

The first Beretta's from the late 70's that had the mag release button relocated to behind the trigger guard will work in a Taures. The problem is very few if any of those Beretta's or mags where imported before Beretta changed the mag catch location on their mags. The Taures's are built on these specs.
I have a friend who got his Beretta in 1978 and his mags do work in my Taures but my Taures mags have had FTF problems inhis gun,Taures mags fit alittle loose in the Beretta(they slide up and down in the mag well)
He only has 3 mags and has noy been able to locate any original factory mags.

The mags used in the M9 will work in a Taurus if, you carefully open up the mag catch slot on the magazine. I had a couple of the M9 mags I got in service and gave them to my dad who has a Taurus. I don't remember what size file we used but it only takes a few strokes and they will work.

Don't know about the Taurus mags in a Beretta, though.

Glock Raider, essentially, you file part of the front sight away, and then punch a hole through the rest, which you use to secure a big old front sight/bushing unit. Just behind the sight, there are two plungers, one on each side, on set screws to hold the barrel in place. It cut my groups in half. Maybe by two-thirds.

It's been fifteen years since I bought one, but as best I can make out from my Natchez catalog, p.81, it's item number MIB00007 for the front sight, the white outline is MIB00005, and the target blade rear is MIB00006. I suspect that the MI part is just Natchez's ID, and the important part starts at B, but I could be wrong. They're not really supposed to fit a Taurus, IIRC, but a good gunsmth is part magician, after all.
