Shot my new XDm .45 4.5 today

I went to the range today and shot my new XDm .45 4.5 as well as my XDs .45 for the first time since the recall was performed.

I shot 50 rounds of Federal 230gr fmj and 20 rounds of Hornady Critical defense through the Xdm.

I was shooting at 7 yards unsupported. I was really impressed with the accuracy of the XDm. It was 100% reliable and soft shooting as well. I think it became my new favorite

I put my new Streamlight TLR-1s on it, and in a week or so, will be sending the slide off to have night sights installed.

First two groups, 7 shots each using Hornady Critical Defense

My first five groupings, bottom left was me firing a little faster

My best group of the day with the XDm

Love mine, too. I carry it owb in the winter and it's my nightstand gun with a TLR-3 attached year-round. It's hard to go wrong with 13+1 of 230gr JHPs in 45ACP.

Nice looking XDm and nice shooting.

How does it feel with the Streamlight on it?

Not too bad. It doesn't really throw the balance off at all.
