Only snagged four in the 01-03 timeframe, several were $129 with a 60rd block of GP-11. Back then GP-11 cost near what it does now and looked expensive next to cheap surplus .308. Now?? Buy as much as I can. Only about 2500 rounds here, but new brass on hand also.

Available at two of the "major" C&R dealers now for $300. Great value.

Crazy to think that investment of 30 K31 rifles, just a few years ago, was only about $3,000!

Simpson LTD's Posting K-31's

I know this is an old thread so this is just an FYI that Simpson LTD is currently posting up K-31's on their web site for sale almost daily for the last week or so. Many under $400. I ordered one this morning (to be my second K-31). Merry Christmas to all.

About eight or nine years ago I bought five or six of them. I sold a couple to friends and gave a couple to nephews, I kept one. It had the best metal and a nice bore but, for some odd reason the stock was in, what I would describe as, "firewood" condition. It didn't bother me though, because I wanted to fit it with a bench friendly style of stock and just shoot it for fun.
Lately I'm thinking of sending it off to another home. Boyd's has an original, military style walnut stock for $144.00. I wonder if it would be worth, say... $375.00 with a new, albeit not original, walnut stock?

Simpson seems to have hundreds of them, not sure where they get them from.
Wideners and Samco still have them for sale as well, three bills...

Not IMO, probably less than the $300 original ones sell for. That's typical of milsurps...
