HK P2000 with Robar NP3 Plus and Stippling

Hi all,
So I have mentioned the work I've done on my P2000 here, but I've never posted pictures, so here we go. The slide, barrel, and internal parts were re-finished in Robar's NP3 Plus. The stippling was done by an armorer/FFL holder near me. I wanted to keep it relatively minimal with the stippling, so I had him go back over the original texturing on the front and back straps and fill in the boxes on the side panels. I think he did a very good job in the end (he did the same on my HK 45c). If anyone has questions please feel free to ask.

Sweet!
There's a snapcap on the floor.

I saw a beater P2000 with LEM trigger I want. Most of the finish is gone and it looks cool. But they want too much for it. I'll see if I can get those hardheads off their price this weekend.

Looks nice.
I like the texture on the front and backstrap more than those on the side.

Robar makes a very nice finish.

It's actually the same. The reason it looks different is the original panels have these very small thin rectangles:

So when you go over it with the stippling it looks different.

NP3+ magazines

Did you get the HK pistol magazines treated with NP3 too?
I did that with my 96D in 2007. I had the frame treated with Rogard(which I do not suggest).
It nicks & scuffs quickly.
Metalife, www.MahovskysMetalife.com looks good too. I might get that done to my next carry/duty pistol.

Nah the magazines and their finish is pretty smooth so I didn't pay the extra to have those done.

Yea I had the slide release levers done in Roguard and they do scratch a bit. I guess they have a new finish, Poly TF2 (who comes up with these names) that's supposed to be better but who know.

I've been happy with the work so far. I don't know if I'd do it to another gun though. I like it, but it wasn't necessary at all, more just a personal preference thing. The turnaround for mine was 2 months, which is a long wait. Luckily I had backups for carry.

Excellent job on the stippling. Conservative but very nice.

Thanks ! He's done it a lot on his personal guns but not so much for others. I gave him a description and he did the rest. I didn't want the entire grip stippled, and I thought this basically accomplishes that while not looking so obvious at first glance.
