Thank You Suggestion

I went to my local gun shop the other day. The gunsmith has his own counter there. Had my old 10/22 with me because I had several jams the last time I fired it using one of my Butler Creek 25 round magazines. I brought the two magazines that I own with me, he put 10 rounds through each.

While the gunsmith was checking the rifle I bought some handgun ammo from another counter. After about five minutes the gunsmith called me over. He had tightened one screw on the 10/22 and told me I had one bad mag. I offered to pay him and he shrugged me off and said "no charge". He spent maybe five minutes on my rifle.

In reflection I should have done something besides say thanks to repay him. Any ideas? He's got a bakery and cafe next door, so my first thought of coffee and doughnuts won't work.

I'd start by posting the name of his business here. You might steer some customers his way...
Did you know that there is a TEXAS State Rifle Association?

Howells Guns in Grey, Maine. Gave me a great deal on my 642 last year. And they sell online. Thanks!

Another way to thank them is to darken their doorstep the next time you have a firearm need.
Guns exist. Legislation will never change that.
