Dynamic Research Technology

i know this is such an old thread, but i bought htis ammo today, knowing nothing about it, so i researched a little. i saw pages and pages of people on forums knocking this stuff as gimmicks etc. but when i have read all the newer articles, it seems that this stuff has actually proven itself in the last four years. for example, the CEO of Cor-Bon said "this ammo does it all" and has an agreement to load DRT's bullets in its entire line of ammo. so have the myth's been dispelled? has this proven to be a good defense round?

Except it's tungsten not titanium. Titanium is as light as aluminum. It doesn't sinter well.

i did see the titanium in one of the blogs, i thought that wouldn't be very cost effective either. i know frangible has been around for awhile, and the military junked it years ago, but what apparently makes this different is the cup that goes inside the hollowpoint. i have no idea what the "cup" is made of, but it's very shiny, like platinum shiny, maybe that's where the titanium came in. not sure
