Scored a 9422 Winchester Legacy today

It doesn't happen often that I'm in the right place at the right time but today I picked up a 9422 legacy in 98% condition for $275.00. This thing is pristine, he even threw in 5 boxes of ammo. Not sure what the value is but it's got to be more then I paid, I looked at one of the plain 9422's at the LGS about a week ago, in 70% condition and they wanted $525, seemed high to me. Just had to share with you folks what I thought was a good deal.

Oh the things I would do for a deal like that...

That's what I paid for my plain 9422 in 1993.

I believe Blue Book shows one in 98% to be valued around $650. I would say you got a super deal. The kind that don't come by real often. They are great little rifles so you should really enjoy it.

That was a good deal. I currently have a 9422M and a 9417. I don't know why I've never scored on a 9422, but I've been looking for a good one. Both my 94 rimfires are really nice and good shooters. The 9422 would round out my collection nicely.

That is a STEAL ! I've looked at those on gunbroker from time to time, and in that condition I bet you could get at least $800 for it.
